Kuwait, 14 December 2009: Behbehani Motors Company, the exclusive agent for Volkswagen cars in Kuwait, posts a remarkable achievement to add to its amazing record, where it achieved the highest score in sales and was ranked No. 1 this year among the dealers of Volkswagen in the Middle East.

On this occasion, Mr. Hans-Heiner Tueting, Executive Director Sales International Markets - Volkswagen AG, handed over the achievement award to Mr. Ali Morad Behbehani for the highly successful business achievements over the year 2009.

Further Mr. Hans-Heiner Tueting stressed: "Volkswagen has great interest in Kuwaiti market, which is the fastest growing in the region, with long lasting relationship with Behbehani for more than 50 years, where Volkswagen achieved continuous successes and sited itself synonymous to luxury, comfort and outstanding performance. The Brand Manager of Volkswagen at Behbehani Motors Company – Mr. Abdullah Ali, said: “For our success, as well, we owe our clients for their trust in the capabilities of our company to provide unique and creative services seeking their satisfaction and loyalty. Fortunately, God gave us the right path to reach our goal. Yet, it is our achievement, and the achievement of our beloved country Kuwait. On the positive side the current economic crisis was a motive for us to reach our goal steadily”.

He added, “For the first nine months of this year, our sales augmented to a 48% as compared to last year. The sales were 17% above the target that was fixed by the main factory. These figures, placed us among the other top rankers in the Middle East. We followed our vision and offered a lot of services that were welcomed by our clients. Following a total quality management system is a part of our company’s strategy and doctrine. This system was developed and we implemented quality management systems certified according to ISO 9001:2000. The award we received is the result of the unique services we provided that met the highest possible standards in Volkswagen sales and service centers in Kuwait. Each system defines standardized, certified processes for each department. The system enables employees to share and apply best practices within their domain”.

We introduced Touareg 2010 into the Kuwait market and it received outstanding success among its competitors. The competition is still on with the amazing sporty design features and add-ons.
