| Kuwait, 22 July 2011: Behbehani Motors Company, the exclusive agent for Volkswagen cars in Kuwait announced that it has been voted for a 2nd consecutive year in a row as “Superbrand for 2011” in recognition of its ongoing strategy to remain at the forefront of the automotive industry.
This certificate is awarded to the strongest brands in different sectors after scrutinizing over 3,000 brands in Kuwait and their achievements in 2010. The “Superbrands” Council in each country, which comprises of individuals who have shown exceptional aptitude in business and have a thorough knowledge of the market, along with over 1,300 marketing professionals are asked to score brands from a list provided by qualified researchers. The scoring is tabulated and the top scoring brands are being awarded with the “Superbrands” status.
The Superbrand status is given only to the companies that have undertaken focused and consistent activities and have increased their customer satisfaction and loyalty over the year.
With this achievement Volkswagen Kuwait proved it is beyond par excellence and popularity in the Kuwaiti car sector. The certificate is a reward for maintaining top quality standards and for following the guidelines of quality management systems. Volkswagen Kuwait will receive the Superbrand certificate at the official high profile premier marketing Superbrands Tribute event in October 2011.
This is the third certificate of excellence Volkswagen Kuwait receives after being awarded ISO 9001:2008 certificate and becoming the No. 1 Volkswagen partner in the Middle East for achieving the highest increase in sales in the region in 2009.
