With its most powerful engine, the Scirocco averages 7.6 litres per 100 km* around town while CO2 emissions under the same circumstances top out at 179 g/km. And it sacrifices nothing in the way of sportiness. The Scirocco is magnificently sporty. But it gets even better: the optional 7-speed Direct Shift Gearbox combines the ultimate in fuel efficiency (compared with a conventional manual gearbox) with maximum sportiness.

The Scirocco doesn’t just look good and go fast – it also has a practical side. Its wide tailgate offers unlimited usability and makes loading up the Scirocco a walk in the park. And should the boot space prove not large enough, the rear seat backrest folds down to offer even more space. Flexible convenience in a sporty package.

When it comes to safety, the Scirocco really shows its sporty background – coming standard with ESP (electronic stabilisation programme).
